What is a Sliding Channel?
A sliding channel—often called a plastic U‑channel—is a profile designed for edge trim, display framing, and signage. These plastic profiles are commonly used as graphic holders, protective edging for conductor bars or bus bars, and PVC U-channel trim for furniture and retail displays. They’re also great for applications such as shower door seals, shelving, and decorative end caps.
At Jifram, our U-channel plastic strips are made from strong, durable materials like HDPE, Polycarbonate, and Rigid PVC. When paired with double-sided adhesive tape, a PVC U-channel becomes an excellent option for attractive and functional label holders or sliding display systems.
