How do you pronounce Jifram Extrusions, Inc.?
Jif – like the peanut butter and Ram – like the animal. Jifram is an acronym representing the three original owners, Jim (Ji) Frank (fra) and Merlin (m.) Jifram Extrusions, Inc. is a family owned privately held company that has been manufacturing custom plastic profile extrusions for over 40 years.
What are your lead times?
Our standard lead time is 4 to 6 weeks for plastic profiles that require new tooling and 2 to 3 weeks on plastic profiles from existing tooling. Many times we can improve upon our standard lead times! Just give us a shout (920)-467-2477 or email us at jifram@jifram.com) once you place your P.O. We will then see if we can work your requested ship date into our current production schedule.
What is your Minimal Order Quantity?
We do not require you to order any minimal quantities! We will quote, run, and ship any order quantities.
What are the size limitations of your custom plastic extrusions?
We can manufacture custom plastic profiles up to 7 inches tall and 22 inches wide. We also have the capability to extrude custom plastic tubing up to 4 inches round and plastic channels of all sizes shapes and colors.
What materials can you extrude?
We can extrude custom plastic profiles from the following materials:

How do I know which material I will need & how much for plastic extrusions?
The material you end up with depends on your application/project. We will work with you to be able to ask questions and better understand your needs. As far as your project’s quantity, we do not have a minimum requirement for orders. You can order as much or as little as you require.
How much does your custom profile tooling cost?
Tooling costs can range from a couple of hundred dollars to several thousand dollars depending on the size and the complexity of the tool.
Can I receive a sample of my custom plastic profile?
Yes! Upon our receipt of your tooling payment and for a minimal set up fee, we will manufacture and ship production samples of your custom plastic extrusion.
If you do not want to invest in tooling costs or set up fees, we can construct a PROTOTYPE of your new plastic profile. Get details on Jifram’s plastic extrusion prototypes.
Do you have the capability to co-extrude or tri-extrude?
Yes, co-extrusions and tri-extrusions are a core competency of Jifram Extrusions, Inc.
Is Jifram Extrusions, Inc. ISO certified?
Jifram Extrusions, Inc. is not ISO certified; however, we would be delighted to review with you our quality assurance program and the processes that we have in place to deliver a quality product, on time, and at a competitive price.

When was Jifram founded?
Jifram was established in 1981. We are a privately held, family-owned, located in Sheboygan Falls, WI.
What kind of plastic is best for extrusions?

What are plastic profiles?
Plastic profiles are a linear shape created by pushing plastics through an extrusion die. This can be done with a large assortment of materials, but you can find our available materials that can be used for plastic profiles.

What is the difference between plastic extrusion and injection molding?
Injection molding is injecting plastic into a mold to create a shape whereas plastic extrusion is pushing plastic through a die to create a linear profile.
